The Groom's Story

Josh Alan Aberle was born on August 25, 1984. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in Fountain Hills from the time he was two. Growing up Josh did what most little boys liked to do, explored new things and got dirty as much as possible. He also enjoyed taking things apart just to figure out how they worked, although he could never figure out how to put them back together. Josh started hunting at a young age, killing his first rabbit at his Grandma's cabin. He has continued to hunt with his dad over the years, and now has a gun collection of his own. As a kid, Josh was in boy scouts for a few years and also played t-ball and soccer. His favorite thing to do though was skateboard. He has many fond memories of skating with his friends. Josh also loves animals, and had many pets throughout his life, such as a number of dogs, reptiles, birds and fish. At the age of 16, Josh purchased his first vehicle, which would later lead him into a career in the automotive industry. Josh was three years ahead in math in high school, and after graduation, he attended a year and a half at Scottsdale Community College wanting to be an engineer. He worked at Pat's Automotive Specialist while attending school. He soon realized that his heart was not in engineering, but in the automotive field. He quit Pat's and left to attend Universal Technical Institute for a degree as an Automotive Technician. Attending school required him to move to Avondale for a year. He graduated in February 2006, and again received a job a Pat's, this time as a technician. On the side, Josh also has the hobby of buying cars, fixing them up, and selling them while making a profit. He has owned 16 cars so far, and currently owns 4. Josh is also a frequent eBay user, and also has an interest in the UFC. This year Josh became an uncle for the first time. He has a beautiful nephew named Devyn who he loves so much. This summer Josh traveled to Peru on a mission trip. He had a wonderful time and hopes to make the trip again sometime.
